صحف نت - Alsahwa Net- The Abductees' Mothers Association has accused the UN Security Council of disregarding the case of Yemeni abductees who were unfairly and illegally held in custodies of the Houthi-Saleh militias for years.
The association on Thursday arranged a protest before the UN office in Sana'a, denouncing the disregard of the UN Security Council and its special envoy to Yemen Esmail Ould Cheikh Ahmed to the suffering of the abductees and their rights
It demanded the UN Security Council and its envoy to put pressures on the Houthi-Saleh militias to immediately release them without any condition.
In a statement, the association underlined its refusal to use the case of the abductees as a bargaining card, pointing out that they are innocent civilians who were illegally abducted from their homes and job places.
Thectz association reiterated that the Houthi-Saleh militias deliberately deprive the abductees of food, signaling out that most of them are suffering of diseases and epidemics as a result of malnutrition and healthcare neglect.
