Suspected militants of Ansar al Sharia, local branch of AQAP, bombed on Thursday a building used to be a headquarters for the Public Security in Dawan district of Hadhramout province, southeastern Yemen.
Hadharem Net news website had stated citing an official source in the district that the building was deserted, and was used by the Public Security before moving to a new building, adding that no casualties were reported in the bombing.
It is noteworthy that this is the third incident in Dawan district within the few past days, following an attack on the Security Department HQ last week in which a soldier was killed, and opening the fire on contractor and abducting a number of laborers while they were setting up a security checkpoint place, according to the news website.
