The pro-government forces and Popular Resistance, backed by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition forces, had seized control of al Amri military camp east of Dhubab district in western Taiz, southwestern Yemen, after five months of blockade on it.
A military source told Almasdaronline that the pro-government forces had stormed al Amri camp and the surrounding mountains east of Dhubab, after two days of fierce battles against the Houthis-Saleh forces, and one day after seizing al Amri series of mountains between Dhubab, Mozza, and al Wazeyah districts.
Meanwhile, the pro-government forces intensified the artillery and missile shelling on the Houthis’ gatherings northern al Mocha district on the Red Sea coast during the last hours.
At the same time, the aircrafts of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition have launched seven air raids on Khaled camp, killing 11 Houthi militants and injuring 15 others.
The aircrafts also launched other five raids on the rebels’ sites in al Mocha crossroads, which resulted in the death of 5 militants and injury of 7 others, as well as the destruction of two military vehicles.
