Four suspected al-Qaeda members were killed on Saturday evening by a US drone airstrike at al-Juba district, southwest of Mareb province in eastern Yemen.
A local source told Almasdaronline that the airstrike had hit a car carrying four suspected al-Qaeda members in the al-Jif area west of al-Juba.
The source said in a telephone interview that the car was bombed as it passed through a sub-paved road connecting the provinces of Marib and al Bayda.
The owner of the car belongs to Qaifah area in northern al Bayda province, according to preliminary information.
A special source for Almasdaronline correspondent had told that “there were two brothers, Ahmed and Mohammed al-Athl, among the dead elements, and they belong to Murad tribe of Marib.
