A local source in Hays district southern al Hodeida province, western the country, that a young man was subjected to violent torture by the government and resistance forces, on charges of belonging to the Houthi group.
The source told Almasdaronline that a group of the Popular Resistance, from the southern area of the country, looked into the young man's phone and found a picture of one of his friends, who is following the Houthis, then abducted him immediately.
The source added, "the elements kidnapped the young man, although his father is one of the leaders loyal to the legitimate government, and after mediation efforts they released him, but he was subjected to violent torture leaving scars and wounds on his body.
The resistance accused the young man being a Houthi member.
This comes at a time when the government forces and the resistance loyal to them, widespread violations against civilians in Haya districal and coastal cities, and is no different from the violations of the Houthis.
"The southerners destroy all the elements of life and expelled the security director of Hayes, Major Abdullah Maimara, who continued in his position for only a week, and replaced all the leadership belonging to the district with southern leaders," the source said.
